Under the Sisterhood
Under the Sisterhood podcast will honor female experiences. During each episode, our host Elizabeth Elfenbein meets with women ages 18 to 100+ and has intimate conversations to get under the hood of their individual journeys through womanhood, with the intention to see and hear one another and hold space for female expression. Together, we dive into many aspects of the female experience, creating an outlet for women to share their stories, their ideas, their creation and their wisdom. Bringing in guests of many generations, cultures and backgrounds, we approach historical issues of women’s empowerment and open dialogue for new perspectives on women’s embodiment across cultures and worldviews.

Exploring the dimensions of sexual health with Magaly Pirotte
Today we’re getting under the hood with Magaly Pirotte a daughter, sister, friend, women’s advocate and independent researcher on sexuality education and sexual / reproductive health & rights. Over the past twenty years, she has been active in the defense of sexual health and rights as an activist and as an employee in non-profit organizations.
Magaly founded SEX-ED +, where she creates pedagogical supports that represent the diversity of genital anatomies. She expects this will contribute to improve medical and psycho-social training and interventions, and ultimately contribute to a better sexual health for all. Magaly also advocates for a sexuality education that is more inclusive of the diversity of bodies, identities and experiences and centered around anti-oppressive practices.
