Today we’re getting under the hood of Denise Pines a daughter, sister, and women’s advocate who sits at the intersection of women’s health, technology, and film.
She advocates for age empowerment and community health and stands at the forefront of midlife wellness for women. Denise co-founded Tea Botanics after her experience with hot flashes introducing a line of teas for menopause. She founded WisePause Wellness, a platform dedicated to pro-aging health and education. At the helm of the FemAging Project, she provides women’s health tech research and leads pitch competitions connecting investors with groundbreaking innovations tailored to women aged 40+. In her role as the president of the Osteopathic Medical Board of California past president of the Medical Board of California, and Board Executive of the Federation of State Medical Boards it puts her at the center of shaping healthcare policies and practices.
Finally, as a filmmaker, she’s uplifting stories about girls, women, and people of color, her most recent film is The M Factor: Shredding The Silence on Menopause.
